In trimester three we made our own tree book. First we chose our cardboard. Then we made leaf prints with brayer and jelly plates we cut out and glued the leaves to the book we used lots of glue. A person named Ms.Gignoux was very helpful and good at that.
In the tree book we made poems. One of them we wrote five life dreams here is one of mine.
1.Play college lacrosse
I have always wanted to play college lacrosse because most of my role models play college lacrosse and I love the sport. It would be a dream come true if one day I walk into the roaring stadium and play lacrosse with my friends and play well.
- Win the national championship in college lacrosse
It would be a dream come true because. I love lacrosse and I would love to play at that level of lacrosse. It would be a privilege to be coached by those coaches and to play with good players. I also know I would learn a lot about the game being around those people.
- Get a good college education
In order to complete my next dream I need some good education. And if I get into a good college it would not only help my resume, but it would also give me lots of good knowledge about the world. I know that I would benefit from a good education in lots of different ways.
- Become a general manager for a NFL team
This has been my dream because I have always loved keeping up with the NFL. I would also like to do it because I already have a good knowledge of all of the players in the NFL. And it would be a dream come true if one day I could be the one having a good say in signing players to contracts and drafting them. Calling all of the shots for an NFL team would be a great job.
- Learn how to write a book
Learning how to write a book would be really cool because it would be a fun way to make money. It would help me be more productive. I also feel like I have a skill for making up stories and telling them and reading them. It can also be fun. That is why one day I want to learn how to write a book.
- Invest in different companies.
I would love to invest in particularly smaller companies that seem like they could be a big company over time. I could be an owner in that company and make money from that company and help build up other companies. I think I would like to do this when I retire. I would also like to do it so one day I could make a good living.
- Learn how to speak Spanish as well as English
This would be a great skill to have because you never know when you are going to need to speak Spanish. I have seen people speak Spanish really fast. It looks fun and hard to do. It would also make me proud to be bilingual. That’s why I want to learn how to speak Spanish.
- When I am 16 I want to own a nice car
I really want to own a nice car. Because I can go anywhere with a car. I can drive my friends around in a car or go to the beach or mountains whenever I want.
- One day I want to own a jet ski
Owning a jet ski would be really cool because with a jet ski you can ride one in shallow waters, deep waters, lakes and oceans. You can go tubing with one. Jet skis look really fun, that’s why I want to own a jet ski one day.
- Have fun in life
As I complete all of these life goals, I want to have fun with it because, in my opinion, there is no point in doing something unless it makes you at least a little bit happy. I do not want to forget that being a good person and living a good life is important..
My hopes and dreams for the world are for people to help out others. I also hope for people to have each other’s back instead of hurting one another. I want people to inspire others to be better people. I also want people to be kind to each other and to follow the golden rule. My greatest wish if for everyone to get along.
We made a list of 4 people that we would like to be like when we grow up. Here is an example.
I want to thank my mom for having such a big influence on my life. She has always been uplifting and helpful to me especially when I’m having a tough time. She is willing to sit down with me whenever I need help with homework or help me when I need it. When I have a hard decision to make she has the best advice and is a good person to talk to. Whenever I am around her, I always learn something new. She is always there for me when I need her. She is also the nicest, kindest person I know.
Dad has always been funny, very smart and athletic. He inspires me because he works very hard everyday. He had to put in years of study to get into the position he is in right now. His success has given me good opportunities in my life. When my dad was young and just in college, his Dad died. This was very hard on him, but my aunt and his family supported him a lot. He always tells me that I can do anything with the right attitude. He also reminds me to never give up and that I can complete my dreams if I am willing to keep trying. I know if I have the spirit of my Dad, I can really do anything.
Sam Ferrell is a senior in high school at Jordan High School. He has been one of my top role models. He is funny, very smart and athletic. He has a great reputation among all of the lacrosse coaches in this area. When I tell people that I take private lessons from him, they say great things about him. We had him over at our house one night for dinner and when he left, my parents were very impressed and noticed how he was very comfortable talking to adults. He has helped me become a better lacrosse player but most of all, he has helped me be a better person.
Jesse Cucuci is one of my former private lacrosse coaches. He is also a really good athlete and a great person. Helped me out when he was attending UNC-CH. He double majored in drama and then he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. I am inspired by him and I know if I have the determination and a heart like Jesse, then I can also have the confidence to follow my dreams too.
I have learned so much from these people in my life. When I grow up, I want to be just like all of these people. I hope I have the sweetness of mom, a good reputation like Sam, the work ethic of Dad, and the determination of
We also made a poem about what to never take for granted when Covid-19 is over. Here is my example.
When it’s over, may we never again take for granted
A family dinner somewhere
A high five
School
A sports practice
A football game
A full restaurant
A normal boring day
A smile you can see
A sold out movie theater
A roll of toilet paper
A sleepover
Summer vacation
Life like it was.
When it’s over
I will keep
Playing video games
Watching TV
Going on bike rides
A private movie theater
Online school Fridays
Playing golf
Spending more time with family
Playing more tennis
Long days with pets.
